Creamy Datil Pepper Chicken

CREAMY DATIL PEPPER CHICKEN

4 tsp OIL
4 CHICKEN BREASTS
1/2 tsp SALT
1/4 tsp BLACK PEPPER
1/2 Cup ONION DICED
2 CLOVES MINCED GARLIC
2 tbsp SMOKIN DATIL
1/2 Cup CHICKEN BROTH
4 OZ CREAM CHEESE
3 tbsp GREEK YOGURT


Heat 2 tsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Add to pan and sear both sides until golden brown. Remove chicken and transfer to a plate and cover with foil. Reduce heat and add remaining oil to the pan. Add diced onion and cook, stirring occasionally, for 4 or 5 minutes, until softened. Add Smokin Datil sauce, chicken broth, and cream cheese and stir until melted. Return chicken breasts to the skillet, along with juices. Cover the pan, reduce to medium low and cook for 7 minutes until chicken is cooked through. Turn off heat and add 3 tbsp of yogurt and stir. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve sauce over chicken with rice.
